Drove up one way street the wrong way? I feel so f*cking stupid! I am so mad at myself. Today I accidentally drove the wrong way on a one way street. I have no clue what I was thinking. There were cars driving directly at me. I panicked and turned off at a signal, putting me in the correct direction, and made it home safely. Nothing happened. What breaks my heart is that my younger sister and younger brother were in the car with me. I feel so horrible. Should I try my best to not think about it and just move on and use this experience as being more careful on the road? Also have any of you made this mistake? Mercedes-Benz . How to Replace a Coil Spring in a Mazda 6Your Mazda 6 has coil springs instead of leaf springs in the suspension. Some Mazda 6 owners replace the coil springs for maintenance reasons; others replace the factory springs with special lowering springs to give the car a "performance" look and lowered center of gravity for more stable handling. These steps address removing the rear coil springs from a Mazda 6. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Safety stands Jack Wrench Step by Step : 1 Lift your Mazda 6 and support it by the frame with safety stands and remove the wheel nearest the coil spring you intend to replace. Use a jack to support the lower control arm, releasing the pressure from the coil spring. Remove the lower link side rear stabilizer bar bolt. 2 Loosen the inner bolt of the rear lower control arm and remove the outer bolts, then slowly lower the control arm and remove the coil spring. It is vital that the coil spring not be under tension when it is removed; the sudden release of the stored energy could result in injury or death. 3 Inspect both upper and lower spring seats for signs of wear and replace them as necessary, then install a new spring into your vehicle, making certain that it firmly seats and is oriented with the small outer diameter side down. 4 Raise the lower control arm into position (using the jack) and install the lower arm bolts, tightening the outer bolt first, then the inner bolt, to 63 yo 86 foot pounds of torque. 5 Reinstall the rear stabilizer link bolt and tighten to 31 to 44 foot pounds of torque. Reinstall the wheel you removed in Step 1 and lower your vehicle to the ground. ResourcesMazda 6 coil springs
Mercedes-Benz . How to Replace a Coil Spring in a Honda AccordYour Honda Accord has a strut suspension in both front and rear. These steps will guide you through disassembling the strut and reassembling it with a new coil spring. Difficulty:Moderately Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Vise Spring compressor unit Wrench Step by Step : 1 Remove the strut from your Honda Accord and place it in a vise. Install a spring compressor tool or tools (some spring compressor units come in two separate pieces to be placed opposite each other on the spring) and slowly compress the spring, following the compressor manufacturer's instructions. 2 Unbolt the self-locking nut from the top of the strut assembly only after the spring is compressed sufficiently that there is obviously no spring tension on the strut mounts. Remove the upper mount and all components above the coil spring, taking care to lay them out in the same order and orientation in which you removed them. 3 Remove the still-compressed coil spring. Slowly release the compression from the compressor tool, taking care to do so evenly. Once the spring is not compressed at all, remove it from the compressor tool and replace with a new spring. Compress the new spring to about the height of the old spring. 4 Place the new spring in the strut assembly, flat part on top, and reassemble the strut components in the order and orientation they were removed. Verify that no parts have been left out, then tighten the self-locking nut to 22 foot pounds and carefully remove the spring compressor, making sure that the spring seats properly in the mounts. 5 Replace the strut in your Honda Accord. Some cars call for a little toe-in (tires pointing inward— see Figure 19-6), while others are set with a little toe-out (tires pointing outward). The result should be a nice, straight track when the car is moving quickly. On some front-wheel drive cars, the manufacturer may set the rear tires with a little toe-in and the front tires with a little toe-out so that the tires are parallel to the frame when the vehicle is in motion. 910

If you turn to the right, the right front tire needs to turn at a slightly greater angle than the left front tire. Your car's steering arms accommodate this feat. (See Figure 19-7.) If your tires "squeal" sharply on turns, one of your car's steering arms may be your problem. How do you know if your wheels need aligning? Look at your tires to see whether they show any of the tread-wear patterns that I discuss in "Checking your tires for wear," and pay attention to how your car steers and handles. Does it pull to one side? Does the steering feel loose and sloppy? Is your car hard to handle after a turn? If your tires show any unusual wear patterns and/or you answered yes to any of these questions, your car probably needs an alignment. Mercedes-Benz . Can you put M57D30 in your 528ie39 1997?

Just stand outside your vehicle, near the door on the driver's side. Stick your hand through the open window and move the steering wheel, with your eye on the left front tire. If you can move the steering wheel at all before the tire starts to move, then you need to have both your steering and alignment checked. There should be no "play" in the steering wheel before the signal is transmitted to the tires. As you drive your car, be alert to signs that it isn't handling as easily as before. If the vehicle seems to have a mind of its own and begins to resist you on turns (and pulling out of turns), take a good look at your tires for signs of wear caused by misalignment. Checking your tires for tiear You should check your tires for wear at least once a month and before and after long trips. To determine whether you need to (a) buy new tires, (b) have your wheels balanced, (c) have your wheels aligned, or (d) change your driving habits, simply read your tire treads for clues.
